My life merged into the Spirit Lake Seventh-day Adventist Church when I became pastor here and at Spokane North View Seventh-day Adventist Church in March, 2020. I began pastoral ministry in 2012 with almost 3 years in a multi church district in the suburbs of Detroit, followed with 5 years as associate pastor at the Village Church in Berrien Springs, Michigan. My latest move to Idaho and Washington brings me home to the mountains of Northeast Washington not far from where I grew up. I am accompanied by my wife, Ruthie, and two young children who add a lot of color and personality to my ministry. Our family receives the most joy from seeing God work and people's lives transformed. My ministry in this district includes being co-director of Total Health Spokane, a ministry that is currently training and deploying health coaches that are turning people's lives around physically and spiritually. Some of the other highlights of my pastoral ministry include launching a new church plant outside of Detroit, creating the Extreme Bible Workout summer opportunity for youth looking for adventure and spiritual growth, leading radically driven mission trips to El Salvador, seeing God work through evangelistic meetings, and many many more.
